A9’s VTS is a powerful combination of proven technologies that includes GPS based On-Board Unit (OBU) with GPRS based communication and a Web-based vehicle tracking software based on location mapping.

Each vehicle is equipped with a GPS based On Board Units with wireless communication hardware connected to a remote management server through Internet. The server provides online access to the fleet thus a client can locate a vehicle's present position, can monitor the vehicle's historical path or the current vehicle speed and direction. The intelligent Vehicle Tracking System offers a range of highly customizable information and reports on vital data such as speed violation, route deviation, entire trip summary or boundary alerts when vehicles are entering or leaving a pre-defined zone. Alerts can be received via SMS or by e-mail. With the integration of reports into fleet operations, fleet owners can operate the most proficient fleet possible, keeping visibility on performance and costs.

The solution also facilitates tracking for other utilities as construction equipment, in-plant logistics or railways equipment.
